(J 87) For sale here is a very good looking US WW2 Type B-9 Winter Flying Jacket. The jacket is marked size 40 and was made by Ben Greenholtz in 1944. The jacket is complete with all buttons and has a functional Talon zipper. The jacket has an integrated alpaca fur lined hood and is lined in pink quilted satin. The collar area has one section of wear through in the fur, as shown. The fur is nice but the lining shows some soiling and small wear holes. The jacket is complete with a drawstring. The exterior of the jacket is very nice but does show light wear and soiling. The cuffs have a few piques, and the front waist pockets, which are wool, have some moth holes in them. All in all, this is a great jacket in a good size that will wear or display well. Measurements are below for your convenience. Armpit to armpit: 24.
