Antique original -WWII -United States Army Air Forces / USN / USMC MAE WEST B 4. Life vest –Good collectable condition – war time. Starting with a may 1944 (pre D DAY) along with several early 1945 stampings. Date -Both C0 2 inflators are intact – (but no Co 2 cartridges). It looks good for your display , I’m not sure it will still hold air today. The inner bladders are dried…. I wouldn’t recommend. Using this to save your life! These are getting hard to find today -1944. Issue -These were used on any American aircraft that flew over open water -Commonly used by the 8th Air Force B17 bomber crews in Europe – It shows slight age.. 1950’s USAF Pilot’s E-1 Radio Vest And URC-4 Survival Radio W/Battery & Cord This is a 1950’s USAF pilot’s E-1 radio vest and URC-4 survival radio with the battery and cord. The vest is a Size Extra Large and looks like it is in new unused condition. The URC-4 radio looks nice. The red plastic top part has a small chip and crack on one side which I’ve shown in the photos. The antennas are in good condition. The battery is in nice condition and is tough to find with the matching cord. All together a nice set of 1950’s USAF pilot’s survival gear. This is one of three fighter pilot helmets I’m offering. This is a P-4 Flight Helmet with visor, and a MBU-12P Oxygen Mask used exclusively by Lt Col. He had painted lightning bolts on it when it was first issued, (see pics, you can see the outlines) but later panted it Rescue Yellow, realizing it would probably serve him better in emergency situations. It also comes with the mask, and complete coms, as well as the original issued Helmet Bag. Included is his Life Vest. He stated he had MANY hours on both of these, and I didn’t have the heart to split them up. This also comes in a helmet bag, the zipper is busted, but in beautiful shape otherwise. These are beautifully unmolested pieces of American history. USA buyers only, I apologize.
