Vintage US Military Foot Locker Trunk of Col. Scott of the Air Force. Wintergardens Florida – Winter Garden, Florida. Amazing original piece of military history. Made of wood with metal trim and overall good condition with beautiful patina/paint. Inside, you will find sectioned compartments for gear as well as paperwork in the lid in German, with photos of the layout for the gear the trunk would hold. PILOTS RARE WW2 BINOCULARS 2.5X50 MAG WITH CROWS FOOT MARKS ON BINOCULARS AND CASE. BAKELITE EYECUP HAS SOME DAMAGE ON RHS. MARKINGS ON THE CASE READS. Manufactured in Brass and covered with a smooth black leather covering These binoculars are of a small, but substantial design, and are heavy. The optics are excellent, and give a crystal clear image with the 2.5×50 optics which were the optimum magnification for use in the cockpit of an aeroplane. The shaped Bakelite eyecups are perfect on one side but have some damage to the other (see photo’s) and there is an original leather neck strap. They were all manufactured by Henry Hughs of London.
