FLOW INCREASE – 49% HORSEPOWER +18HP TORQUE MAX GAINS +20LBS. This Stage-2 intake system produces up to 18 HP and 20 lbs. Of torque over stock, while outflowing the factory intake by 49%. Included in this system is a washable/reusable “oiled” conical air filter that uses five layers of progressive weave media for maximum air flow. This intake system uses a 18 gauge steel heat shield that is positioned under the factory hood scoop to supply the air filter with cool, dense air for maximum performance. 360 Degree Air Filter: A huge inverted cone 360 degree round air filter is used for maximum air flow and filtration (98.6% efficient). The Pro 5R performance air filter features 5-layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media and is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. Top Mounted Heat Shield Design: aFe developed this heat shield to attach onto the top of the lower half of the factory air box to provide a hassle-free installation utilizing factory mounting locations. Bump Lock Filter Mounting Design: The air filter uses a unique bump lock flange design that allows the air filter to securely mount to the heat shield with no hardware. Originally known as the “Air Police Badge”, the Air Force Security Police Badge has existed since the early 1960s. The badge is worn in the center of the left shirt pocket of all Air Force uniforms, with the exception of the Mess Dress Uniform, where it is not worn in accordance with (IAW) AFMAN 31-201v3, para. 1.15.1.5.2., and is the primary identification for officers and enlisted airmen of the Air Force Security Police. The Air Force Security Police Badge is considered a symbol of legal authority and Force Protection on Air Force Installations. The badge is awarded to all Security Forces (SF) members upon graduation from the Security Forces Academy (Tech school).
