Original Early 1950s US Air Force Jacket, Aircrew, Heavy. Made by Reed Products, Inc. Spring Loaded Crown Zipper. It is in remarkable condition – excellent with no flaws other than that the Air Force stamp has faded. It appears to have seen only very light use because the wool pocket bags are very clean. The white wool is still very white! The cheesecloth tag in the pocket with’Lot’ and size’Large’ is in excellent shape – these are usually long gone. Arm pocket zipper is a Conmar and main front opening has the ever charming and very burly spring loaded Crown zipper. All the original leather pulls are here and in great condition. The wool knit cuffs and shearling hood lining are perfect. The inner lining is also perfect. All the original drawstrings are here and in great shape. The most remarkable part is the thick and very full coyote fur around the hood. I never see it this good! You won’t find another one of these in such amazing condition!
