Offered is an original United States Air Force issue flying suit. This model L-1A Air Force blue flying suit was manufactured at some point in the 1950s by L. Pursuant to its contract with the Air Force. It is a size Medium Long. It is offered as pictured and shows rather mild to perhaps normal wear. All zippers slide smoothly.
This is a Type 1, Class 2, Tan 380 CWU-27/P flight suit. It’s in very good condition and all zippers work well. No tears or other similar damage. Could be a few light frays, but overall good. The patch is large and subdued color. It measures 4 tall and is the PVC type plastic finish. It is affixed to the right chest area. The size is a 42 R. The rank sewn on is for a brigadier general and the stars are dark colored. Overall, this is a nice flight suit. Please review pictures provided and ask any questions before purchasing.

This USAF flight suit has rank and those are affixed well with the suit being a 38 Short. The zippers are working and some have light frays on the tab ends. No obvious damage on the suit.
