ARTIFACT: This is a unique jacket patch for the United States 614th Bomb Squadron, 401st Bomb Group, 8th Air Force, a unit that served at the Battle of the Bulge. The patch shows a devil’s head inside a winged, upside-down horseshoe with a missile sailing by and reads 614th SQD. VINTAGE: Circa World War II. CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Cotton silk-screened patch. ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Air Force collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): Patch shows a small amount of wear.
