This is one of best pieces of WW II military I have discovered in a long time. Jacket was discovered in the back of a closet in an old Victorian home. Jacket belonged to Mr. Mac Lackey of Statesville, NC. It is a very graphic both front and back. He participated in many battles during WW II in Germany. There are painted bombs for each of the missions. It appears to have 30 Missiles. Many missiles have names embossed such as Berlin, Laon, Mont, Dieppe, Leipz, Not all Painted Bombs are Signed. Jacket features a Large Plane on Back with numbers 337733 and the name Joyce on Back. There his his name Duo Mac Painted on the Front. There are 2 Bars on each Shoulder. A Devil Holding 2 Bombs is the real eye catcher on. Please see all photo’s Jacket retains original label inside. It is a size 44. This Flight Jacket is real, Original, and Authentic. Jacket is in overall good condition. A real chance to own a newly discovered piece of WW II US History. USAF F-100 Super Sabre Original Watercolor Painting Circa 1960’s Up for sale today is a really cool watercolor of an USAF F-100 Super Sabre. The painting is done in vibrant watercolors. The jet has FW-542 towards the nose and 7452 towards the tail. The tail is decorated with a white lightning bolt on a blue background. The colors are fresh and the details are crisp. Force Pilots Tropical Flight Helmet, Googles, Oxygen, Receivers and Microphone Grouping. This Grouping consist of a what appears to be a Helmet, Flying, Type E, 1945 Pattern, Tan Cloth Mesh, a type H O2 Mask 1946 Pattern Marked “Medium” with a broad arrow as well as “MLD 15″ inside”, a set of what I believe to be Mark VIII Goggles which may very well be post war, and a A M Marked set of receivers with a number of “10A/13466″ inked to one as well as a Plug marked “10H/735 and Ref. 10H/10991 along with the microphone which is built into the O2 Mask. The flight helmet has a size tag “4” inside and I was not able to find a pattern no. To ID the model or date of production. This set was found together and could have been used by a United States Army Air Forces Fighter or Bomber Pilot or Crewmen flying P-51, P-47, B-24’s or B-17 Fighters and Bombers as well. The overall condition of the lot is good with the noted issues of wear to the helmet from use , the O-2 Mask is missing it’s hose, the googles strap was pinned together and also has a cracked side lense, and the microphone cable is badly worn and coming apart. This would be a great addition to any Flight Gear Collection, Group or Grouping. Royal Air Force Flying Life Vest Preserver Pattern 41 Tagged as a Size Large with Signalling torch and Battery as well as Plastic Acme Whistle Grouping that were also used by United States Army Air Forces Flight Crews and Pilots. The size is tagged as large with it fitting over a size 40 jacket as shown. T he vest is in good condition with the yellow cloth soft and supple and the noted issues of some of the snaps pulling from the material including the one on the torch pocket as well as the inflation bladders inside the zippered compartments being dried up and cracked along with the material being lightly. This would be a great addition to any Flight Gear Collection, Group or Grouping.
