It came to us through a friend in Carentan who was given it by a neighbour. Why they had it, we have no idea, we can only assume its been stolen from German stores during the war for it to be in its original issue box and in this condition. Clean Ww2 a2 flight jacket relined jacket. Excellent condition seems to have been gently worn. Light wear on shoulder. It is size med 40. Dimensions underarm to underarm is 20. Shoulder seam to shoulder seam is 16 1/2. Shoulder seam to end of cuff is 23. Back of jacket down to bottom is 24. Cuffs & waste band seem to have been replaced. The replaced lining is satin. BEAUTIFUL NEAR MINT WWII US ARMY AIR FORCE M3 FLAK HELMET WITH INSTRUCTION SHEET. A really nice helmet with minimal rust and blemishes. Has nearly 100% of the fuzz coating unique to these helmets. The felt pads on the inside of the ear flaps are intact. This is essentially an unused item. Comes with a real neat extra the original instruction label hows that for cool! There is some rust on the chinstrap buckle and a little on the canvas strap. A couple of tears in the instruction sheet. A very pleasing example of this helmet.
