Vintage USAF sterling silver ring with round blue rhinestone, ringed by the words “United States Air Force;” both sides of the band feature an eagle with wings spread over a shield containing, again the words “United States air Force, ” surrounding a five pointed star. Crafted by the Uncas Manufacturing Co. Was founded by Vincent Sorrentino in 1911, in Providence, Rhode Island. Good Overall – Some tarnish; couple scrapes to stone. Chip along edge of silver. Size 8.75/ 1″ x 1″ x 0.75 (Width x Depth x Height) / 12.6g great addition to your collection.

Beautiful pair of Korean War era brown size 9.5D jump boots. They really look nice but there is some cracking and prior owners name is written inside both pair. The original inside stamping has been covered on one boot while the other is hard to decipher. I believe it says 1950 International Shoe Co. There are metal shoe forms still installed to maintain lower boot shape. They can be easily popped out.

1940s WWII USAAF D-1 Medium Leather shearing jacket. Made by the Paul Reed company. The D-1 was primary used for grounds forces such as fuel men and mechanics etc. Much lighter than the B-3. It has a few tears and has a patchwork done long ago probably from original owner its has its scars blemishes and the owners name, and number 7. Has written painted on back Dick… And his name on front of jacket. Jacket is in good condition considering age. Original Zipper has been replaced sometime before , pocket zippers are old and one looks may work the other not. Great if not worn could be used for a display in any bar or ww2 collector. All the buttons are green military style and snaps say UNITED CARR. Her name for sale is an original wwii issued A-2 leather flight jacket. The jacket is named to Col. The jacket is well worn but intact. Appears to of had the cuffs/knits replaced period many years ago and the liner is well worn as well. The leather is pliable but most of the seams are VERY fragile and will tear under pressure. Mostly the lower half of the jacket and around the collar. Bellow I have attached a web link to his obituary and also a small summary of his service. Affectionately referred to as Mr. Army National Guard Aviation, took his first flight with his dad in 1929 and earned his private pilot license in 1943. He would eventually become one of the most experienced aviators in Rhode Island Army Aviation history. He was both a fixed and rotary wing instructor pilot with more than 9,000 military flight hours and 12,000 total hours flight time. He saw combat during WWII as a 19-year-old infantryman, and earned the Bronze Star and Purple Heart during the Battle of Leyte. His Rhode Island Army Aviation career spanned three decades, starting in 1954 as an Aviation Officer with the 43rd Division Artillery at Hillsgrove and concluding in 1977 as the State Aviation Officer at Quonset Point. Russell was Flight Activity Commander at Hillsgrove from 1956 until 1974, and then became the first Rhode Island State Aviation Officer and Army Aviation Support Facility Commander. Though he retired federally at the rank of colonel he was promoted to brigadier general in the Rhode Island Army National Guard shortly before his retirement in 1977. Joseph Garrahy declared January 7, 1978 as Russell J. Johnson Day in Rhode Island. The item “1940s WWII A-2 Horsehide Leather Flight Jacket Bronco MFG Corp.
