This is a gem of a find. It is an original 1944 issue USAAF Type A-11 Intermediate leather flying helmet. Helmet is in very good overall condition. Leather is soft and supple. Original label indicates this is a desirable size large. Wing & star insignia on the front left side. Chin strap assembly is complete and functional. Factory applied oxygen mask snaps. The A-11 was a favored flying helmet. This helmet is a fine example of the A-11 Intermediate flying helmet. Great size and condition. Vintage A-2 Schott Bros 612 Air Force Leather Aviation Air Force Jacket 42. Material: leather possibly goat skin leather. The jacket is in very good condition. The leather is soft and supple. The lining shows a considerable amount of wear/balling. Loose stitching on the bottom hem. Jacket is kept in a smoke free environment. All the snaps and zippers work unless stated otherwise. Old Vtg WWII Ca 1940s Original AAF Army Air Force Chocolate Shirt Flyers Officer

This offering is for an original WWII 1940’s US Army Air Force Officers Shirt. The shirt is made of a chocolate brown gabardine material and the original Army Air Force patch is still on the shoulder. The shirt has two patch pockets and a six button front. The original tag is in the neck but it has only a generic spread winged American Eagle on it and no makers info. There is a hole on the bottom of one sleeve just above the cuff as seen in our photo’s. There are also a few small scattered holes and a bit of minor soiling and one of the buttons has been broken in half. The pink paper tag on the front shows the shirt was taken to the cleaners in 2005.
