I’m not sure if the “1977” on the front is the date or if it holds another significance. I’m considering it used and is pre-owned. The gold tone on the rim, the lettering, numbers, and the logo are all in good condition with very little wear.
This is a 1950’s Japanese made USAF 13th bomb squadron patch with the famous “Oscar” The patch is just under 5″ tall and is about 4 1/4″ wide. The pilot I got this from was flying B-57’s in the late 1950’s.
