(crest shaped logo) and STERLING. 6- WW II era Liaison Pilot. 7- WW II era, hand made (possibly in theater) combat wings. VERY RARE and beautiful! It has the C. Crest in red and blue enamels. Burma India China in blue enamel. 2 3/4 inches ca. 8- WW II era. 3 1/8 inches ca. 9- WW II era. 10- WW II era. 11- WW II era. 12- Post-WW II Naval Pilot. 13- WW II era Civilian Air Patrol. Blue and red enamel. 2 1/2 inches ca. 14- WW II era. Said to be from China Burma India campaign. AMICO 1/20 10K G on S gold filled on silver. 15- WW II era. 1 3/4 inches ca. 16- WW II era. Army Air Forces and AWS in white enamel and OBSERVER in blue enamel. 1 1/4 inches ca. No marks (gold filled, possibly on silver). All in excellent condition. World War ll 8th Air Force Bomb Group Bombardier Collection of 1st Lt Billie F. Pollard, a B-17 bombardier. The collection includes his history starting with documents of his time in the cadet corps and his commission as an officer in the air corps. There is an album that has a hand written letter about his training and travel, a list of the missions he flew with the primary target and bomb load of each mission, pics of B-17 nose and Norden bomb sight (not period), school certificates and photos, selective service service reg. Card, commission orders, class 44-10 grad photo, bombardier training report, Childress AAF grad announcement and orders to AF, Last photo as cadet, ! St photo as Lt. Promotion, performance and pilot training recommendation, terminal leave papers, letter about illegal package, plus many more photos and paperwork. THE VIETNAM TRIBUTE COLLECTION issued by The American Historical Foundation. Great condition with minor scratches on the box. If you have questions please ask. Below is information about the whole collection. The American Historical Foundation issued a series of four commemorative combat knives called the Vietnam Tribute Collection. The knives were manufactured by Gerber Legendary Blades of Portland, Oregon. The type of knife used for this collection was the Gerber Mark II. Each knife handle has its own camouflage scheme relative to that specific branch of the United States Armed Forces. The only exception to this is the United States Navy Knife which has the solid colors of green and gray with a gold rope wrapping around the handle seperating those colors. On the handle of each knife is the seal for that specific branch of the United States Armed Forces. Each knife is unique, and the blades are made of stainless steel. Each knife blade is individually hand ground, so there are slight differences in the blade lengths. The display side of the blade has an insignia or patch relative to that specific branch of the United States Armed Forces. The rest of the display side of the blade has a stunning engraved combat scene with banners on each side. For example, The Marine Knife says “In Honor of the United States Marines” to the left of the engraved combat scene and “Vietnam 1961-73″ to the right. The back of each blade has the Gerber Legendary Blades logo, below the logo is the word GERBER in capital letters. Below GERBER, in smaller capital letters it says PORTLAND, ORE. And below that is the serial number. Each Knife has its own case made of Mahogany. Inside of the Wooden Knife Case is its own Embedded Certificate of Authenticity that tells you the specific branch of the United States Armed Forces for the Knife, and Serial Number. VINTAGE USAF UNITED STATES AIR FORCE NAMED COLLECTION COLONEL SHIRLEY FONTES. It is extremely RARE for a Woman to make it to Colonel! I was able to do a little research into Colonel Shirley Fontes and I came up with a horrible, grimm detail. It looks like in 2010 this great woman was murdered by her step-son. One Air Force Chief Flight Nurse Badge–also called the Master Flight Nurse Badge. Thanks US Militaria Forum! Many Patches & Pins. Only a few items are Sterling. I opened one of the smaller two frames and. Of the pins were marked Sterling. A gold colored Leaf (a loose one) made by N. Approximately 75 signatures on the big frame wishing her good luck–may be some famous signatures on there? Condition: The large picture frame is coming apart on the back.
