WWII U. S. Army Air Corps 8th Air Force painted leather jacket used navigator BS
World War Two United States Army Air Corps 8th Air Force Hell’s Angels original period painted navigator leather jacket. This is an original period well used piece. It looks to me that this is a British 40s motorcycle jacket that a US GI had period painted instead of an A 2 leather jacket. This piece shows age and use. There are some holes in the winning inside but doesn’t really detract from the coat. The wings are shirt post navigator wings with original sterling silver clutches. You can tell the wings have been on the jacket for a long time. When I measure the jacket I get about 17 inches from armpit to armpit and about 24 inches from the shoulder seam to the end if the sleeve and about 28 inches from top to bottom… Thank you for taking a look at our items today, if there are any questions ask them and we will answer ASAP.
