The service jacket is size 38R, dated 1941 and has the Technical Sergeant chevrons on each sleeve, a U. Over the ribbon is the blue felt backing which show he is a Combat Crew member, a 3 inch pin back Aerial Gunner Wing (sterling), U. On the collar are screw back Army Arm insignia, one U. And other Air Corps. This jacket is in excellent condition, no damage, as are the rest of the listed clothing. The trousers are size 33×31 tag dated Apr 1942, wool shirt with chevrons and 8th AF patch size 15×33, tag is washed out. There is a web belt, size 32, but no buckle, and last is a set on summer uniform khaki , shirt 15×32, not chevrons, patches, tag dated Jan 43, trousers 30×31, tag is washed out. The Technical Sergeant was the senior enlisted man on a 8th AF bomber crew, usually the flight engineer position, and also trained as a gunner to man the top turret.
