About as complete a group as one could ask for, this is the WWII archive of Staff Sergeant George Knop, a B-24 gunner in the 320th Bomb Squadron, 90th Bomb Group Jolly Rogers in the 5th AAF. The group has the following highlights. Comprehensive pocket notebook detailing all of his combat missions to include dates, hours, the strength of the flak, bombing results, targets, etc. 3+ foot long signed short snorter with bills labeled with the islands he was on. Wrap brooch Air Medal and box -Photo ID Card -Sterling clutch back A. Utica marked Wings -Dog Tags -Ribbon Bars -Patches (these have a green glue on the back as if removed from a display) -Original Air Medal orders -Certificates, orders, physicals, immunization records, awards card, misc. Documents -Numerous NCO Club cards from bases he was at -1973 book about the B-24 mentioning his unit. Display case is not included. The pieces are vintage and therefore may show signs of age, wear, or patina. At that time, an unpaid item case will automatically be opened. It will be left, but please be patient.
