This is a high density foam model of the SR71 Blackbird. 16′ long and an 8′ wingspan, I have had it hanging in my hangar since it was new. Aside from the dust it’s a beautiful specimen. This was custom built for me by Aviation Effex (in about 2002) who has done many models for movie studios. The flat finish is nearly perfect, I hope you can gather that from the photos.
