WW2 USAAF TSgt 15th Air Force Theater Modified Khaki Uniform Group Complete. 1 Jacket/Shirt: The jacket/shirt is a nicely tailor modified EM khaki two pocket shirt into a shortened Ike jacket configuration. It is nicely done and reinforced on the back. The jacket is in good condition with some small pin point sized “ink” spots on the right pocket and a small stain next to the 4th button hole. The shirt has button closure down the front and double button closure on the bottom. There is an Italian made silk embroidered on dark blue twill 15th Air Force patch sewn on the upper left sleeve.. The patch is sound but is slightly faded from use. There is a nice detailed sterling pair of 3″ pin back Air Crew wings above the left pocket that are marked “Sterling on the back. The ribbon bar is pin back. The shirt comes with a khaki cotton neck tie. 2 Trousers: The trousers are a standard pair of Army khaki cotton trousers. There is a faded stamp inside that looks like Waist 31 Inseam 29. The trousers have double back pockets and a button fly. They have been used and worn but are in good clean condition. The trousers are tagged but the tag is too washed out to read. 3 Garrison Cap: The enlisted garrison cap is made of khaki cotton and has gold and blue USAAF braided piping on it. The cap has a fabric sweatband. There is no size that I can find. The cap has been used but is in good condition. There is a clip back EM wing/prop disc on the left side of the cap with smooth faced clips. All in all, a very nice complete theater modified jacket/shirt U. Army Air Corps uniform group.
