WW2 RAF E-type oxygen mask. Nice oxygen mask as used and worn by RAF pilots and aircrew. One of the first rubber masks introduced by the RAF during ww2. This example is a good used example. The rubber of the mask itself is still pliable but has some chipping to the edges. It is however stable, and likely to remain in good condition. There is no splits, tears or holes that I can see. Fitted with a good condition harness with good elasticity. The mask has a later oxygen tube fitted, and is the wider type. However it does finish off the mask and makes it complete for display. The metal circlip is present and the brass bayonet fitting is in good condition with crocodile clip. Both marked with A. M mark and reference numbers. The rubber tube itself is in good condition with no issues. Original anti suffocation valve is fitted to the right side and nose bridge plate is still securely fitted and ideal to mould the nose section. Overall a good displayable oxygen mask, ideal for a ww2 RAF musuem aircrew display, RAF collection or reinactor display. If you have any further questions please ask and I’ll try and help.
