This is the real deal, a rear canopy from an actual F-5 fighter jet. They are constructed of Plexiglas and are in fairly good condition. There are some scuffs and scratches, but no major damage. It is approximately 48″ L x 34″W x 20H. Choose from 6 to decorate a man-cave, a kid’s room, or build a pretend jet or spaceship! Must sell my 40 plus years aviation collection. This rare condition US Air Force fighter pilot P1 helmet is in hard to find original configuration. Many of these where converted to later configuration. The cushions and headset are in great shape. The avionics cable is dimilled but a replacement is provided with this item if you desire to change it. The helmet is a Gentex and the oxygen mask is Scott MBU 5/p. The pilot has decorated the helmet with reflective tape. The helmet is a large size as seen on worn tag. The interior padding is very worn and the black material is sticky and falling apart, possibly from being stored in a hot environment. I will include the foam head that came with the helmet. Other than the interior padding the helmet is in decent used condition. Overall very attractive helmet.
