This is an interesting find. It is a set of original WWII vintage goggles that have been modified to look like a set of MK II flying goggles. It appears the modification was done long ago. Goggles appear to be a standard set of British utility goggles that have had an aviation goggle strap attached. Strap is marked with the Air Ministry Kings Crown. And boldly dated 1940. Goggles are in excellent unused condition. Comes in a gray colored tin that has a variety of markings indicating RAF issue. Be aware, these are not real MK II goggles. It is a beautiful set and displays nicely. Could these have been a movie prop from the 1960s? If there is a problem or concern contact me and Ill make it right.
