This Deputy Commanding General challenge coin dates back to the early 2000s and holds a special place as one of the OG challenge coins. Renowned for its exceptional quality, it is believed to be American-made and remains highly sought after by collectors. As someone who has been collecting since the late 1990s, I recently acquired this coin as part of a collection. While my personal focus lies in Marine Corps coins, this particular piece has caught my eye. Its desirability among long-time collectors is undeniable, and I’m strongly considering adding it to my collection despite its deviation from my usual focus.
