ARTIFACT: Wonderful English-made WWII 325th Bomb Squadron, 92nd Bomb Group, 8th Air Force Jacket Patch. Nicknamed the “Alley Oops”, each squadron of the group had the famous cartoon character riding a different prehistoric creature, this one being a sabre tooth tiger. SIZE: Approximately 5 1/8 in diameter. CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Embroidered wool felt, silk/cotton/polyester thread, treated cloth backing. ATTACHMENT: To be sewn on.
