Very good condition and guaranteed original WWII US Army Air Force Type A-1 survival folding machete. Clearly maker marked to IMPERIAL on the blade. Folding mechanism functions fine. Blade has original blue metal finish showing some normal wear. Edge has a chip near the tip. Black plastic grips have no damage. Complete with leather wrist thong. Fitted in scarce original leather carrying pouch that is soft and supple with tight stitching and shows some normal wear. Has faint markings on the front.
