Up for sale here is this set of 2 NOS vintage RCA JAN CRC 5U4G coke-bottle rectifier tubes. These do not have boxes but are NOS unused. These have matching 60-09 date codes, for the 9th week of 1960. They have identical construction, with rectangular mica plates at the tops, ribbed black plates, top side wide D getters with foil strips, and huge patches of silvering. These were made for the US Air Force during the Cold War, and as such are extra-high-quality tubes. I tested these on my calibrated B&K 747B tube tester, and they tested at 89/83 and 89/89, with no shorts or grid emissions, on a scale of 0-120, where 65 is minimum good. These are great tubes, testing at NOS levels, and are guaranteed to work well for you. Please see my pictures for details. If you have any questions, please ask. I have more tubes and other vintage electronics listed–feel free to take a look!
