Large hardback book titled “FROM FIJI THROUGH THE PHILIPPINES WITH THE THIRTEENTH AIR FORCE”. Wear and very light soiling to cover, spine is tight, all pages intact and in excellent condition. Has numerous color plates. “GUINEA-SHORT-LINES JUNGLE AIR FORCE” hand painted on pebbled pig skin leather flight jacket (squadron) patch. Measures 5 1/2 in diameter, never sewn on a uniform. Large hand painted on canvas flight jacket back patch with image of a B-29 heavy bomber, with the words JUNGLE AIR FORCE, LUZON P. Measures 10 3/4″ across at bomber tip and tail, 9″ in diameter. Has stitch holes from being sewn on a jacket. The small photo came with this patch and is the original owner.
