Offered here is a very rare original WWII USAAF B-7 shearling arctic parka flight jacket in great condition for it’s age. The jacket has a coyote fur trimmed hood with drawstring, zip and button front closure with buckle fastening at the neck, 2 zip pockets and 2 deep open topped leather faced map/cargo pockets. It has lost it’s original label so there is no indication of size but measurements are as follows; underarm to underarm (external) 48″, shoulder to cuff 26″, underarm to cuff 17″ and collar seam to hem 33 1/2″. It has a USAAF inspection mark’AN’ over’? 37′ in a circle stamped to the rear of the left pocket. The jacket is in overall nice sound condition as per my photos below showing some age related grubbyness, a small tear to the top rear corner of the left pocket, a larger tear at the same point of the right pocket and a tear to the left cuff (as per last three photos below) – all relatively easy repairs.
