Description: Original WW2 uniform grouping consisting of a small Ike jacket (no label) & crusher cap. The jacket has captain’s rank & other pins, plastic covered ribbon bar, & sterling silver pilot’s wings, as well as an Italian made bullion 15th AAF shoulder patch. These items belonged to a pilot in the 416th Bomb Squadron, 99th Bombardment Group, & flew 51 combat missions. He received the DFC, the Air Medal with 4 OLC’s, the EAME medal with 4 battle stars, & a Presidential Unit Citation. The winner will be provided with his name & all known info. The crusher cap is very warped, the Ike jacket’s buttons are in very rough shape, the shoulder patch has wear along the border, the jacket has several moth holes, & the jacket liner has numerous holes.
