This is a handsome find. It is an new condition Type A-2 flying jacket. It is very accurate and is a size 44. Label indicates this is made by the Steve McColgan Clothing Company. All of the details of the original include snap down collars, hook and catch on the collar, epaulets, two front snap down pockets, correct light brown cotton lining. Wind flap has a nice AAF wing & star insignia. Made of very fine goatskin leather. It measures from under arm to under arm at 23 inches. Rear shoulder to shoulder measures 20 inches. Rear neck to bottom of waistband measures 23 inches. Shoulder seam to end of cuff measures 27 inches. Jacket is a beautiful early russet brown color. Heavy duty solid brass. Talon zipper with leather pull tab. This stunning flight jacket is in ready to wear condition. If there is a problem or concern contact me and Ill make it right.
