Air Forces in Europe Wool Varsity type Jacket. 1959 USAFE Swimming & Diving Championship award Jacket, from Torrejon Air Base in Madrid, Spain. Royal Blue, wool Letter Jacket with button-snap front & lower pockets. Large,’R’ chenille Letter patch at left chest. Diver’ patch & USAFE shield patch at right chest. (see close-ups) Back of Jacket, has a Great round chain-stitch patch (pictured) Quilted, satiny striped inner lining in Great condition. Tag Reads: “Unisport, Universal Sports Corporation”. Underarm to Underarm (across front): 22 1/2. Shoulder to Shoulder (across front): approx. 18 1/2″ to 19″. Length (From Top Back Collar to Bottom): 27. Sleeve Length (Collar seam to Cuff end): 30.
