This is a World War Two Eighth Army Air Force 5 1/2 inch diameter patch from a named veteran of the 466 th. Flying Deck’ Bombardment Group (Heavy) of the 787th. BG Squadron in which my father served. Squadron was stationed at Attlebridge Arsenal in England and flew combat missions in B-24 Liberators over Western Europe and Germany in 1944 and 1945.
