USAF Mukluk Shoes, N-1A, Rare, Blue, Boots, Medium, Korean War, Bristolite, NICE

Shoe, Mukluk, Heavy, N-1A. Blue, Size-Medium, excellent condition. No wear, they look unused. Nice color, they look darker in real-life than in the photos. The A series of blue color USAF flight gear is usually associated with the late 1940s to mid 1950s. Before that was WW2 style US Army Air Force gear and after that basic all-green up through and beyond the Vietnam War. The more common N-1B sage colored Mukluks are from the later period. This blue gear from the early USAF Cold-War jet days is therefore more rare. The wool felt insoles are included. These are marked medium but seem pretty roomy. Vintage WWII Type A-6 Sheepskin USAAF Army Air Force Bomber Boots M Bristolite

These vintage Type A-6 boots were made during WWII by Bristolite for the USAAF. They are made from sheepskin with a rubber sole and large gauge round spring loaded pull Crown zipper and two straps. Soles have hardened over time and are stiff. These are the mid-war A6 modified boots as opposed to the later war A6a (which were issued with the leather straps). Leather is in good shape with very little flaking. No rips tears or repairs. Welcome to Antiques & Bygones. WWII 40s TYPE A-6A US ARMY AIR FORCE PILOTS WINTER FLYING BOOTS SIZE 11 & LINERS. Rare original WWII 1940’s US AIR FORCE WINTER FLYING BOOTS. Coming from Suffolk, England these would have been worn by an airman in the 8th Air Force (The Mighty 8th). Order #AF 33(038)-1040. Size XXL 10 1/2 to 11 1/2. Complete with original un-issued WWII TYPE Q-1 Flying Electric Shoe inserts made by Northern Electric Company. The idea being you wear a standard shoe then the electric sock then the boot, hence the size of these boots. Boot sole length measures 14. Please read the condition report.
