Bulova 21AE 8 Day WWII Aviators Clock. Give this clock a little axial wiggle and it will run for a bit. I’ve had it run anywhere from a few seconds to several hours. Eventually it stops; my amateur diagnosis is that it needs a good cleaning, which is supported here. From what this says, the oil just gets dirty with age, and gums things up. Otherwise the clock is in fine shape. I coaxed it to run for several cumulative hours, then carefully wound it… Everything appears to be working correctly. From the tag on the back. MFR’S PART NO. IT’S IN THE DESIRED COIN RIM DENTIL CASE MODEL WITH SCREW ON BEZEL AND BACK. THE CASE MEASURES APPROX. 31MM IN DIAMETER, NOT INCLUDING THE CROWN. IT HAS A BLACK DIAL WITH WHITE NUMERALS & HANDS. THE MOVEMENT IS SIGNED AS BULOVA. THE WATCH COMES WITH THE TIME PERIOD NEW STOCK MILITARY CANVAS STRAP. IT’S READY TO WEAR. WATCH COMES RIGHT TO LIFE AFTER WOUND. I LET THE WATCH RUN FOR A FEW HOURS BEFORE LISTING TO MAKE SURE IT WORKED. IT RAN SMOOTH W/O STOPPING. THE HACKING FUNCTION WORKS. The watch is in good cosemetic condition. Watch case does have some scuffs and scratches to chrome plating. (PLEASE CHECK ALL PHOTOS). Watch comes with the original ARMY ISSUE BAND. The only thing we guarantee is that these types of items will arrive in the same aesthetic condition as you see in the photos.
