For sale is a Resume of 20th Air Force Missions of WWII. This book was published in 1969. It is a complete detailed summary of each B-29 Bombing Mission flown against the Empire of Japan in 1944 throught 1945. Each summary shows the number, code name and date of the mission. As well as the details of the actual mission: participating unit, number of aircraft, time over target, aircraft lost and bombing results. The book is used, some minor fraying of the rear cover. Description: Original WW2 uniform grouping consisting of a small Ike jacket (no label) & crusher cap. The jacket has captain’s rank & other pins, plastic covered ribbon bar, & sterling silver pilot’s wings, as well as an Italian made bullion 15th AAF shoulder patch. These items belonged to a pilot in the 416th Bomb Squadron, 99th Bombardment Group, & flew 51 combat missions. He received the DFC, the Air Medal with 4 OLC’s, the EAME medal with 4 battle stars, & a Presidential Unit Citation. The winner will be provided with his name & all known info. The crusher cap is very warped, the Ike jacket’s buttons are in very rough shape, the shoulder patch has wear along the border, the jacket has several moth holes, & the jacket liner has numerous holes.
