This desktop model was previously listed during the last week of October. I trust this individual, but I have no information as to who, when or where it was repainted. I was in charge of the garage area and had pulled a box out of the rafters that was labeled office. This plane along with various office supplies and other Northrop items were in the box. The estate liquidator checked with the family to see if they wanted to keep. They had no interest, but said they remembered it in their dads office from the 1960s till he retired in the late 1990s. I believe it was boxed in the condition as shown. Both plane and stand are constructed of a white pot metal. Plane measures 12″ wide from wingtip to wingtip, 11 1/2″ long from nose to tip of tail and is 9 tall on its original stand. It is decorated both with water decals and airbrush accents. The airbrush portions are the cockpit windscreen and the exhaust from the jet engines. Water decals represent the United States Air Force. It is marked on the bottom wing “Bronzart New York”. Condition of the model is very good with no breaks. There is some minor decal loss to both decals on top of the wings and the one located on the right side of the vertical stabilizer. There is some surface irregularities to the paint on the plane and some minor chips to the black paint on the base. All condition issues are minor and I don’t believe they affect the overall appearance of this vintage 1950’s desktop model. PLEASE READPLEASE READPLEASE READ. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING.
