(J 141) For sale here is a nice looking US WW2 Army Air Corps Air Forces CBI China Burma India Chocolate Brown Officer’s Ike Uniform Jacket. The jacket is complete with pin back 2nd Lieutenant Rank bars, clutch back unmarked AAC collar insignia, and a gorgeous theater made bullion CBI patch on the left shoulder. The jacket is made of chocolate brown elastique. All buttons are present. The inside of the jacket is lined in satin and there is a Clipper Craft tailor’s label over the right breast pocket. There is a tag inside of the pocket that states that the jacket is a size 35R, but the name slot has not been filled out. The jacket does have moth holes to the front, the back, and the sleeves. However, these don’t show too much as the jacket is dark and the backing is dark, but there is considerable mothing to just about every part of the jacket. The inside of the jacket is nice. The US collar insignia has been removed, and there is ghosting from this. The jacket does have a musty smell. In my opinion, this jacket is way too nice and displays far too nicely to remove the patch. Though there are some issues, this jacket will still display very well.
