I’ve been asked to supply better images; I hope this satisfies those interested. I have also been told that the cuff and waistband are very old replacements, and do not look mismatched to the age of the coat. Original World War II Aero Leather Clothing Company A2 with great old patina. Condition is good for it’s 80 plus years, and is wearable. I’ve resisted the urge to bathe it in Pecards–I’ll save that pleasure for the new owner. Property Air Force US Army. Measurements with the jacket laid flat. Pit to pit 25. Shoulder seam to cuff 25.5. Shoulder to shoulder: 19.5. Measured at the front of the jacket. Shoulder to waistband: 26. Measured from the back collar seam to waistband 26. The jacket has a fully working rare Kwik zipper with no issues. There are traces of minor mildew and some drying to the hide, but in my experience, I’ve cleaned and conditioned worse shape jackets to excellent wearable condition with pecards. It’s a size 50–I believe the largest Aero made, which is also rare. The knitted cuffs and waistband are in very good shape. The lining has some small tears at the collar (pictured) and by the armpit–this is NOT significant. There is also some cracking to the hide on the collar (see pictures).
