USAF USN A-7 Corsair II Aircraft Carrier Attack Aircraft Pilot’s Gun Sight

This is an original USN or USAF Corsair II Attack Fighter Aircraft Carrier Jet Gun Sight or Optical Sight. It is in good used condition. This sight lights up at the top and reflex’s the cross hairs on the glass using the mirror below. This sight came out of aircraft Bu. This aircraft was in VA 122 in 1969 then VA-153 in 1972 and then VA-125 in 1975 and then VA-56 in 1976. I had an 0-2A FAC aircraft and it used a very similar sight. This sight has two lenses , one clear for day and one red for night. It is 8 x 11 x 5 inches and weighs 3 pounds. I don’t believe there are any more of these aircraft flying. This would be a great on the desk or shelf of a former A-7 driver. Thank you for your interest in my auctions. This SPECTACULAR, WWII Disney patch measures 5 across and represents the 63rd Troop Carrier Squadron/403rd Troop Carrier Group. S&S Precision Plate Frame Multicam USAF 18th Weather Squadron SOF Plate Carrier. SIZE: APPEARS TO BE SMALL / MEDIUM HARNESS PLATE TYPE: Ceramic Protection Corp TC4C PLATE SIZE: Appx 11.5″ H x 10″ W Comes with a triple 5.56 mag pouch attached to front (removable). This is an authentic S&S Plate Frame in Multicam. It was made for a member assigned to the USAF 18th Weather Squadron, based in Fort Bragg, NC. They are usually sent as detachments to support the US Army 82nd Airborne (also based at Ft Bragg) on missions and deployments. Doing more with less, the PlateFrame’s patent pending, lightweight, semi rigid plastic design provides a rigid mounting platform unlike any other plate carrier on the market. The frame gives the operator the capability to scale their loadout up or down to meet operational requirements. The PlateFrame allows for easy attachment of accessory pouches and will accommodate standard MOLLE pouches. Weighing in at 1lb, 6oz (without ballistic plates), the maritime inspired PlateFrame does not retain any water due to the use of non hydroscopic materials and welded seams.
