1950s 1960s USAF Air Force SAC Helmet Hard Hat 556th Missile Squadron SMS Named
For sale is a used 1950s or 1960s US Air Force helmet/hard hat. Based on the markings, it belonged to Captain Folts, a Missile Combat Crew Commander (MCCC) with the 556th Strategic Missile Squadron (SAC). This unit operated ballistic and cruise missiles from 1957 to 1965. As this is a used military helmet, there are signs of wear (see photos). If you have any questions, please ask. The product is a set of three Insignia Missile Rocket Pin Badges, along with a Combat Crew Badge and Patch. These items are themed around militaria and represent the United States Air Force. 2 upper left badges are sterling, the other two are not. I had to reglue the outside Trim, not sure how well it will hold. Badge upper right is missing a post and glued in/ Patch is glued also. Display is about 8 x 12 inches.

Removed from Raytheon AIM-9 Sidewinder Missile fins. Super rare item that I will probably never have in stock again. Use for display or as an aviation scientific learning tool. I was told the ROLLERON wheels spin at 340,000 RPM’s when the missile is at full speed. Blow it with an air gun and actually feel the centrifugal forces that stabilize the missiles!

This is a beautiful belt buckle commemorating the deactivation of the Titan II nuclear program. This is a limited edition buckle numbered There is some text on the back describing it as well. This one has a silver color. This buckle appears to have been stored for sometime and not used much if any. It is in excellent condition. There are a few small pits along the edge.
