Unit and a component of the New York Air National Guard. It is stationed at the former Griffiss Air Force Base. In Rome, New York. The Eastern Air Defense Sector is one of two Sectors responsible to the North American Aerospace Defense Command. (NORAD) and the Continental NORAD Region.
