U. S. USAF Cooper MILITARY A-2 Leather Pilots Jacket, GREAT shape, SIZE 38 REG
USAF MILITARY A-2 leather Pilots Jacket, GREAT shape, SIZE 38 REGULAR. Barely worn, like new, Cooper A-2 leather flight jacket. Fantastic condition with crack-free supple leather, really nice wrist cuffs and waist band, stain free liner, no wear anywhere on jacket body, and just one very minor surface discoloration on right arm (see photo). Hardly noticeable and likely taken care of with a quick trip to a leather cleaner.
Us Army Air Forces B15 Type Flight Jacket, Estate Found, Nice Shape
Up for sale I can today offer a very nice US Army Air Forces “B15″ Type flight jacket. This jacket was part of a larger, estate found WWII US Army Air Forces uniform and equipment lot which consisted of flight helmets, shearling / sheep skin flight gear, comm-gear, etc. All of which had been in storage for years. The “Army Air Forces” insignia is very faded, however still present on the upper left sleeve. The fleece collar is intact, as are the elastic-type cuffs and waist band. The brass zipper works fine and is marked “Talon”. The jacket is a bit faded from age and wear, but remains in overall very good (in my honest opinion), overall condition and would still be quite wearable. I can find no nomenclature tags, however I’d have to say it’s roughly a size 38. There’s only a bit of edge wear at the very edge of the collar, and for the most part, the jacket remains in very good shape overall. If you collect US Army Air Forces gear, or are in the market for a good, wearable vintage flight-type jacket, don’t pass this one up for the price! As there are no labels extant, here are some basic measurements. Width of jacket (armpit to armpit) 23 inches. Shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 20 inches. Sleeve length: 25 1/2 inches. Top of shoulder (on hanger), to bottom of waistband 21 1/2 inches. I hope these measurements will help. I do not, as a rule, post items to China or far eastern European (former Soviet bloc) countries. NAMED USAF EC-47 Pilot Lt. Col Vietnam War P-4a Flight Helmet OUTSTANDING Shape
This is a great flight helmet that’s part of a Vietnam War group I currently have listed. All the pieces belonged to a Lieutenant Colonel who flew EC-47 missions with the 8th Combat Support Group, stationed at Ubon RTAFB, Thailand. His name is visible in the last picture above. This helmet is in exceptional condition with earphones and a remarkably clean liner. Also included are the visor cover and helmet bag. All the pieces come to you exactly as found. 8th Air Force WWII A2 Flight Jacket Painted Bombs Bugs Bunny Vintage Bad Shape
This is an original WWII flight jacket. It’s in real bad shape. Some of the leather is stiff some is supple some is dry rot. The left sleeve is definitely the worst. Has a bunch of the leather missing. The paint isn’t much better but it’s all still cool. There’s some mold. Moth damage to the knitting. Some of the leather is very fragile. WW2 A-2 US Army Air Forces’ Horsehide Leather Flight Jacket, Great Shape Amazing
Possibly custom made, unsure if military issued (no tag). Has initials written on inside collar. Awesome OD Green Original Lining. Beautiful Talon zipper with original horsehide pull tab; zipper cloth has one torn spot (unsure if repairable). Interesting smudge on liner, looks to be shaped like the US Army Air Forces’ emblem. Original US Army Air Forces hand-sewn patch. Original Wool-knit cuffs & waist band in great shape for age; has some signs of wear. Collar snap buttons say United Carr. Has top collar hook. Great Condition: some signs of wear on shoulder from hanging on hanger so long, one small hole on back (just leather, not through lining). Still very wearable, leather still soft. Armpit to Armpit: 22.5. Shoulder to Shoulder: 18.75. The majority of our items are vintage items, and character is to be expected.
