WW2 USAAF Silk Survival Escape Map Packet and Sheet 43 A/B & Sheet 43 C/D. Found with invasion armband, blood chit and other map I have listed this week. Packet has been opened. No compass or hacksaw. Contains: Map Sheet 43 C/D- Side C- Holland, Belgium, France, Germany. Side D- SE France, SW Germany, Switzerland, Belgium & Germany (New Frontier). Measures 29 1/4″ X 29″ Map Sheet 43 A/B- Side A- NW France, West & Central Belgium, Holland, Pyrenees Mountains. Side B- German Swiss Frontier, SW France, North Spain. Measures 29″ X 28 1/2″. With pilot’s leather name tag. Could be from later in his career, as he flew after the war. Maps are in excellent condition. Packet is in very good condition.
