Antiques, Fine Art & Collectibles. Vintage US Army Cold War Brass Plaque Plate 303rd ARR Air Rescue Squadron Dumbo. DESCRIPTION Vintage cast brass military wall plaque. Dating to the 1950s /60s era this solid brass plaque depicts Dumbo the Elephant in the center above the motto “Serving to save”. This emblem was adopted by servicemen who named their Albatrosses after the flying elephant in 1957 and was applied to their SA- 16As. Marked: 303rd ARRSq Serviens ut Servet A great military brass commemorative piece to display on your man cave wall or addition to any US military collection. This would make a great unique gift for a birthday or housewarming. MEASUREMENTS Vintage plaque measures 11″ wide by 1″ tall and weighs 1lb 8oz. CONDITION Plaque is in good working condition with little signs of use commensurate with age (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description). This is a used Men’s Air Force Dress Mess 2 pc. It comes with a Jacket & Pants. It also has the center buttons and chain. The Jacket measures the following. Shoulder to shoulder – approximately 17 1/2 inches. Underarm to underarm – approximately 21 inches. Sleeve Length – approximately 24 1/2 inches. Length shoulder to hem – approximately 23 1/2 inches. The Pants measures the following. Waist – approximately 38 inches. Inseam – approximately 28 1/2 inches has a 2 1/4 in hem that could be let out. This is a used 1950’s United States Air Force Uniform. It is blue in color and comes with the jacket and pants as shown. The Jacket: Made by ” Sol Frank Co” in the United States. All pockets and buttons are secure and intact. The inside lining of the right arm needs a little repair as it has some loose seams on the lining. The jacket looks hardly used and has a couple of minor marks in areas. 18″ shoulder seam to shoulder seam, 34.5″ long The Pants: Are very clean All pockets are intact Zipper opens and closes properly. 30 waist and 33 Length There is a split on the seam in the back of the pants from the waist. 12 long and is right on the center seam on the butt.
