Fantastic original WWII B-15 intermediate flight jacket size 36R. Very good condition overall. The fur collar and lining are still fully intact and soft. Zipper in working condition. Cuffs and waistband in great condition overall with small holes in some areas depicted in photos. One arm appears to have a seam where it was repaired. Vintage US Army Air Force B-15A Flight Jacket. Wear throughout with some holes/discolorations/repair work which can be seen in photos. Jacket did have patches on the sleeves which were removed. Army Air Force Type B-15A Intermediate Flying Jacket was developed as a replacement for the earlier B-15 Flying Jacket, being officially standardized in November 1944. The B-15A incorporated a few additional features found to be necessary from combat experience with the B-15 jacket, those features being two triangle-shaped leather patches on each breast for clipping the oxygen mask hose to, a larger pencil pocket on the left sleeve and two snap-down tabs on each breast for retaining the wiring leads from the microphone and headset. Original WWII US Army Air Forces B-15 Flight Jacket

Original WWII US Army Air Forces B-15 flight jacket. It is a size 40 regular, has some type of triangle ghost patch on the front, the cuffs have some damage and several stains on the front and back, but is still a great jacket. I also noticed a small break in the zipper at the top. All our items come from estate sales, yard sales, flea markets or places that we have traveled. All Japanese items come directly from Japan. Feedback will be left once feedback is received. We are a smoke free home, but many of the items were acquired from homes that may have smoked. These are collectables that I sell to be displayed.
