1950s Vintage US Air Force K 2-A Blue Flight Suit-Large 4925th Atomic Test Group
Offered is an original, United States Property marked Air Force flight suit. This suit, flying, very light is dark blue in color and is a size large tall. It was made by L. It dates to the 1950s and is period correct for the patch it bears on the right chest tying it to the 4925th Test Group, Atomic. The Group was discontinued on April 1, 1961, when Air Force Systems Command replaced Air Research and Development Command and components of its mission were distributed among other units. The 4925th was a significant and interesting unit that is worth your time to research, if you find yourself interested. This suit was obtained from the family of a very accomplished Air Force Colonel who recently passed away. He was given this suit by a member of the 4925th. The suit is offered exactly as pictured and shows very little wear for its age and use. The only real flaw I found is that the zipper on the left flank vent is off of one track. A pretty simple fix. A very interesting piece of Air Force history tied to a very interesting unit.

Vtg 1950’s US Air Force N-3A Snorkel Parka Sz S Blue Fur Hood USAF Flight Jacket
Great fur trim, mouton lined hood, nice blue shell. Pre owned, does have some issues – minor discoloration/fade to the shell, Front Crown zipper is missing (can see where a tooth is missing near bottom box, it must have detached from there). Minor bit of fur loss/shedding to fur trim. Also drawstrings inside waist area are worn, and cuffs show wear. Please see all photos! Go by following/see pics for best fit: Measures 22.5″ pit to pit, 17″ armpit seam to end of knit cuff, and 30 length from rear neck seam down center back.
