Navy, as seen in news films of the Iraq War, etc. It is a white color life preserver vest. There is a catch and life reservoir bar to attach the cylinder, but the cylinder itself is not included. The main body of the cylinder is not included. Reflective markers on both shoulders. OG colored strobe light pouch is sewn on the left chest. A gray flame retardant pouch is sewn on the bottom. A red hose for blowing air in on the right chest, a pocket for a cylinder under the red hose, and a pocket for a cylinder attachment. Adjustable left and right sides, yellow life reservoirs on the left and right chests and in the back, and a yellow life reservoir on the right and left chests and in the back. There are some scratches and dirt. This is a 1998 government-supplied soundproof/shockproof helmet used by the deck crew of the US military. It is a helmet that is widely used for helicopter missions. There is a brown shield with a Velcro base on the front and a white shield on the back, with ear protectors to protect your hearing from impacts and explosions from aircraft. ·The sponge inside the ear protector is not included. ·The front and rear shields and the cloth inside are almost unused. 8th. Army Air Force 466th BG’ Flying Deck’ 787th, Squadron Original WWII Patch

This is a World War Two Eighth Army Air Force 5 1/2 inch diameter patch from a named veteran of the 466 th. Flying Deck’ Bombardment Group (Heavy) of the 787th. BG Squadron in which my father served. Squadron was stationed at Attlebridge Arsenal in England and flew combat missions in B-24 Liberators over Western Europe and Germany in 1944 and 1945. The notes and postcards document the formation of the 787th. It’s peregrinations across the country as the Squadron formed and trained and their deployment to England and the return home at war time’s end. THIS IS AN ORIGINAL WARTIME PATCH, NOT A REPRODUCTION. As such, it has wear and some minor losses due to age, as usual. Please refer to the photographs as they serve as the description of condition. The item “8th.
