WWII US Army Air Force K-20 Camera Aircraft Excellent condition in WWII Kit Box

This is an original, Made in early WWII Aerial camera. The shutter still fires, other than that I have no clue. It functions with roll film which appears to be 5 inch wide film on a long continuous roll, and the film threading plate and the take up rolls are included along with a couple of lens filters as well, to add contrast. The body of this camera is in really nice condition, indicating little use. The film is dated 1960 indicating use pre-Vietnam war, and two rolls are in original sealed cans. WWII Norden Bomb-sight GYRO Type M7 U. Army Air Forces Data Placard Excellent. Very scarce and historically significant, this Norden Bombsight. M-7 Vertical Flight Gyro is in amazingly good condition. You see many of the sights but not so many of these. Positioned near the aircraft’s center of gravity, the flight gyro, part of the complex autopilot system used in WWII bombers, served as a vertical reference for controlling the ailerons an elevator of the aircraft. The course for the autopilot was set by the bombardier through the use of the Norden Bombsight, which provided stable and level flight for bombing runs. This was used on the B-17, B-24 and B-29 aircraft during WWII. This is extremely heavy weighing 17 lbs 12 oz. The item “WWII Norden Bomb-sight GYRO Type M7 U. S. This is a Vincent Bach trumpet – Stradivarius model. Manufactured in New York, NY. Estimated manufacturing date 1944-46. Equivalent to the 2,000-2,500 range in todays market. ML is noted on the second valve casing. This is a symphony type trumpet – ML bore produces a beautiful tone. This trumpet was manufactured in NY city which makes this instrument more valuable. Subsequent instruments were manufactured in Mount Vernon, NY. Trumpet relacquered only once including the silver. Valves are original, never reconditioned, only buffed. Lead pipe replaced once – around 1988. Graduate of the American Conservatory of Music, Chicago, Illinois. Daryl Gibson, formally principle, Minneapolis symphony orchestra, also studied with Ralph Marteri, Chicago, Illinois. Principle trumpet on active duty with the 566th United States Air Force Band also referred to as the 18th Air Force Tactical Air Command Band. This is a great piece of American history. Preserved in excellent shape, taken great care of by original owner since November, 1948. A detailed list of everything and more thats mentioned about this trumpet will be included in a letter from the original owner (my grandfather) addressed to me. I thought this would be a great addition for whomever is the next owner. The case is not original, but in excellent condition including two sets of keys. Includes mouth piece (Vincent Bach 7c), cleaning cloth, and extra material on a Bach trumpet. If you have any questions please dont hesitate to message me.
