This is an Echo Box TS-488/U. Decal on lid indicates it was from Kelly AFB in San Antonio, Texas (not far from me). Under the lid this thing looks excellent. Everything turns that is supposed to. Has 5 spare crystals in the compartment. I photographed one to show number. Appears to have all accessories inside the lid including a plastic info card. Under that there are two Allen wrenches and another card. I didn’t want to try to remove anything for fear of damage. I understand it has something to do with radar and is from the 1950’s. Made by Fairchild Camera co. Interesting piece of history! WILL DEFINITELY CONSIDER ALL OFFERS. I just want to find it another home. Will be listing some other items from this find soon, so check back. Examine the pictures carefully as they are part of the description. All questions answered quickly. Actually never been actually worn since I bought it a few years ago, so it’s time to clear it from my closet. This is a remarkable jacket and it will not disappoint. Made out of very superior horsehide leather and expertly hand stitched, this particular A-2 Leather Flight jacket is a true homage to the original A-2 jacket. I think of the legacy of American Aviators by showcasing this US Authentic modern version of a Flying Tigers historic jacket used by Claire Lee Chennault Volunteer pilots during the 1930’s Thru USA’s entry into the Second World War. 1930s a-2 jackets were actually worn by a few pilots into the Korean conflict era. First produced in the late 1930’s and decommissioned in the early early to mid WW2 period after the introduction of the now famous Non leather cotton and nylon series of flight jackets. The A-2 made very significant advanced steps at the creation and design of the iconic leather Flight Jacket. Like the original model, this Jacket features two front flapped pockets as well as genuine knit cuffs and waistband to keep cold air out, which were used to protect pilots flying sky high in open aircraft cockpits. Authentic features and Talon zipper! This jacket is truly superior grade and ready to wear. This is an F-15 HEAD UP DISPLAY MOUNT Alignment Adapter that is Yellow Tagged, meaning that it is a serviceable part. It is a very interesting and necessary tool for use with the F-15. And I bet that didn’t include the hammer needed to make the final adjustment. Those of you who have used this tool will understand its value – and perhaps you could even leave us a comment – as our F-15 experience is very limited. It is a little over 2′ wide 10 deep and 18 inches tall and weighs about 20 pounds. Once it is in its foam case, it is a little heavier and a bit larger. Thank you very much for your interest in this very nice item. L-2B USAF Flight Jacket. VERY RARE in this CONDITION. Out of our personal collection, and honestly the only item we saw in this condition in all the years of collecting. This is a genuine and original L2-B USAF Flight Jacket. It is the lighter weight version, has snap-down epaultes and no inside pockets. The jacket is contract dated 12. September 1962 and is in a rare and nice condition! The Conmar doublesided zip works perfectly nice and smooth. The Zips ending got no damage nor fading. The collar and the lower hem got no mothholes nor any other damage. The size is Medium (Sadly sadly too small for us). Defects as we are aware of. The jacket is in used condition but given to its age it is still very nice. The cuffs have broken middle seams and a small tiny hole at the endge (both can by repaired easily). There is a small little hole in the nylon at the backside shoulder (please see the picture). There are some small stains at the front and the backside, hardly visible, but a dry cleaning should do the job. Genuine US government issue. Made from a nylon outside and wool/viscose mix material for the inside. All buttons are there. Zip is working perfecltly. We try our best to point each single defect, but still we do NOT GUARANTEE for anything! Brand: US Air Force. Year of contract: 1962. Style : Light Flight Jacket. Measurement, taken while laying flat. Pit to pit: 55 cm / Armlength on the outside: 54 cm / backside collar to hem: 60 cm – Fits like a Medium! You are welcome to ask any additional questions. Up for sale today is an Original WWII U. Army Air Forces B-4 Suitcase named to a Lieutenant Paul B. Willingter of the U. This one was made by the Knight Leather Products Company early in the war. This vintage suitcase is still in excellent condition. There are no rips, tears, holes or damage anywhere on it or in it. There is however some minor wear around the edges of it though, but none of this is bad by any means. All of the brass zippers are in perfect working order, as are all of the snaps. The grommets are all firmly attached everywhere. The leather handle is still in excellent, damage free condition. Overall this suitcase is still very clean both inside and out. The original stenciling is still nice and dark. It was perfectly centered on both sides by Lieutenant Willingter, giving this suitcase an excellent vintage war-time look. These early war B-4 canvas and leather suitcases are getting very hard to find in this nice of condition. This one is sure to make a great addition to your collection.
