Vintage 1975 impact resistant aircraft carrier flight deck crew helmet. Green with khaki fabric. Made by King’s Point Manufacturing Company. Came from a Montana veteran. Shows minor wear, normal signs of use but no breaks or cracks. Thanks for supporting our small Montana business!

Ww2/post-war RAF MK8 flying goggles, nice boxed pair of goggles as worn by RAF aircrew and pilots. Ubiquitous in images of late war pilots and aircrew. This pair are somewhat used but come in their original box with tinted lenses and demist kit. The goggles themselves are in good used condition retaining a good amount of their original paint. Face cushions are still soft with some service soiling to them. The lenses being very clear and clean, as are the tinted ones. Strap is in great condition too, retaining very good elasticity. There appears to be a name to the strap but I cannot read it. The original cardboard transit box itself is in good condition too with some soiling but no major rips or tears. Marked to the top of the lid and side with “GOGGLES MKVIII”, stores reference number 22C/930. Overall a good complete set of flying goggles ideal for completing an RAF pilot/aircrew display. Perfect for display in a ww2 RAF collection, museum display or reinactor display. Open to all offers just drop me a message. WW2 RCAF/RAF MKIII flying goggles. As worn by aircrew and pilots. Nice pair of goggles in good used condition. The leather facepad is overall very good, does have some scuffing and marks to the chroming but no major damage, rips or tears. There is a couple of cosmetic repairs but they do not detract at all. The pads have gone hard however but the cushioned sections are still soft. The lens are very good and clear, with minimal distortion. Hinge section is good and tidy with no issues, however the nose leather bridge has some peeling and a small hole. We advise caution with the nose section as it is fragile. Strap is clearly marked “RCAF 22/397″ also dated 1942. There is some damage to the spring section on the right hand side, the left side having no damage or issues. Both sides still providing good springness. Overall a lovely pair of goggles, ideal for a ww2 RAF musuem aircrew display, RAF collection or reinactor display.
