For sale here is a US WW2 B-26 Marauder Top Turret & Gun Trigger Control Assembly. This thing is super cool! The piece is marked General Electric Turret Drive Model 2CGD 50 USC and also has spec numbers contract numbers and is marked the Glenn L. The control is roughly 12″ tall and 12″ wide with a depth of 6. There are three plug in type cords in various conditions. All of the switches work and the control moves around in multiple directions to control the turret. The triggers work, and all of the buttons make a satisfying noise when they are pressed. It looks like mice chewed on the right handle, or at least it is scuffed up for some reason. This is a completely cool piece that feels and looks great. WWII Uniform Group B-26 Tailgunner 9th Air Force

This uniform grouping belonged to WWII B-26 Marauder aviator John Surman. He served as the armorer/tail gunner on the crew of Fifinella of the 575th Bomb Squadron, 391st Bomb Group, 9th Air Force. This outfit operated out of England and later Continental Europe during 1944 and 1945, often in support of advancing ground forces. Internet searches of Surmans name, that of his crews pilot (Sam Jacobi), and the planes nickname (Fifinella) turn up photos of this veterans crew and plane. The grouping itself comes with everything seen in the above photos: uniform jacket and pants, garrison cap, some photos/post cards/other ephemera, some ribbons, a WWII Victory Medal, a Good Conduct Medal, an Air Corps patch, and some other miscellaneous items. The coat is named very clearly inside to Surman with the proper matching laundry number and serial number. The uniform is also in good condition, with only a few pinehad sized moth nips that are difficult to find (see photos). The only item in poor condition is the old pair of aviator sunglasses that came with the grouping, as they have deteriorated and suffered lens cracking with age.
